# J292: LACTOBACILLUS PONTIS MEDIUM ## Main sol. J292 55 g Lactobacilli MRS broth (BD-Difco) 1000 ml Distilled water 1. Adjust pH to 6.5. 2. After autoclaving, cool to 50C and add aseptically 18 ml Maltose-hemin solution. ## Maltose-hemin solution 15 g Maltose 50 ml **Hemin solution** 5 g L-Cysteine HCl x H2O 100 ml Distilled water 1. Filter-sterilize. ## Hemin solution 0.1 g Hemin chloride 4 ml Triethanolamine 96 ml Distilled water 1. After filter-sterilizing, store at 4C.
