1. Autoclave solutions separately and combine after cooling to 50°C. A slight precipitate does not restrict agar quality. Adjust pH to 7.2 with KOH using pH indicating paper strips before pouring plates. Place 3-4 strips of filter paper (ca 1 cm2) on the gelated plates and inoculate the filter strips.
