# 1884: Linsmaier & Skoog LS Plant Cell Medium


## Main Solution 1884

4.4	g	Linsmaier & Skoog Med. incl. vitamins (Duchefa L0230)	
0.22	ml	**2,4-Dichlorophenoxyacetic Acid Stock Solution**	
0.186	ml	**1-Naphtylacetic Acid Stock Solution**	
30	g	Sucrose (Duchefa S0809)	

1. Make up to <span class='amount' data-volume='1000'>1000</span> ml with MilliQ water.
2. Adjust pH to 6.0.
3. For solid medium add Plant Agar as followed:

9	g	Plant Agar (Duchefa P1001)	

4. Autoclave at 121 °C for 20 min.


## 2,4-Dichlorophenoxyacetic Acid Stock Solution

100	mg	2,4-Dichlorophenoxyacetic Acid (Duchefa D0911)	
100	ml	Ethanol absolute	

1. Store in a glass bottle with a ground glass stopper at 4 °C.


## 1-Naphtylacetic Acid Stock Solution

100	mg	1-Naphtylacetic Acid (Duchefa N0903)	
100	ml	Ethanol absolute	

1. To prepare a 100 mg/ml stock solution, dissolve 100 mg of 1-Naphthylacetic Acid (NAA) in a few millilitres of 1 M NaOH, then fill up to 100 ml with absolute ethanol.
2. Store in a glass bottle with a ground glass stopper at 4 °C.
