This strain uses the standard medium without modifications.

Equipment needed: Filter
1 Use Medium No. 365 supplemented with 0.2 g/L (final) yeast extract and 1.0 g/L NaHCO3, and omitted sodium acetate. Filter-sterilize NaHCO3 as an 8% aqueous solution, and add to the medium. Fill the inoculated bottles with H2-CO2 (4:1), and pressurize to 100 kPa.
